Grilled Italian Sausage Kabobs
Grilling season is back! We love to grill and during the spring and summer months prepare most of our food outside over the open flame. Not only is it easier to clean up, there is just something about grilled food that makes it taste better. Take advantage of the hot deal on Italian sausage and peppers at Safeway this week to make some delicious kabobs that you can grill for your family. The nice thing about using Italian sausage is that it is incredibly flavorful and doesn’t need a marinade. Simply brush with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to make a delicious dinner on a budget!
Safeway brand Italian Sausage is on sale for just $2.99 a package and red, yellow and orange bell peppers are just $1.00. Green bell peppers are just $.89 each. The Pompeain Extra Virgin Olive Oil is $3.99 with coupon. See more meal inspirations based on sales at Safeway here.
