  1. How are you making this Ibotta work? The pears are sold loose, with no barcode on them and Ibotta demands (at least for me, EVERYTIME) that the barcode on the product be scanned after the receipt itself is scanned. No scannable barcode and NO rebate.

In the past the ONLY Ibotta fruit rebates I have been able to get to work are for fruit that is sold bagged, with a product barcode on the bag. Sometimes the loose fruit have a product code sticker on them, but it is NOT the same as the full product barcode that Ibotta demands – I’ve tried and they refuse it.

Is there some trick to this in Ibotta?

    1. Hi Arthur, I’m never prompted for the fresh fruit rebates to scan a barcode, so they get the data from the receipt to give the rebate. The receipt should say how many lbs. of pears and the variety purchased. I’ll try it this evening and see if I have any issues.
