Hello Louise – Safeway allows one store coupon and one manufacturer coupon to be stacked on the same product, so because the $1.50 Challenge price point is a Just for U store coupon, you can stack it with a manufacturer coupon, which will make the butter $.50. yeah then you get this cashier at an Albertsons ‘mr know it all’ saying you can only use one coupon per item, I tried to explain about the store AND manufacture coupons but he wouldn’t have any part of it. I just left my purchases right there and as I was walking away told him to talk to the manager and go ahead and put everything back,,,bye.
I’m sorry that happened. There are a lot of new cashiers who may not know all the couponing rules.
