Ingredients
4Bartlett pears, sliced
1tablespoonfresh ginger, minced
1lemon, juiced
2.5tablespoonsraw turbinado sugar
Crisp Topping
1.5cupsOpen Nature Honey Nut Granola(may substitute any granola)
1/2cuppecans, chopped
2.5tablespoonsraw turbinado sugar
3tablespoonsbuttersoftened
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a bowl, combine pears, turbinado sugar, lemon juice and ginger. Toss gently to coat pears. Pour into skillet or baking dish.
In a separate bowl, prepare crisp topping ingredients. The butter should be "cut" into the granola and chopped pecans. You can do this with a fork until every piece of granola is coated with a touch of butter. Spread topping over fruit in skillet or baking dish
Bake pear crisp for 30 minutes or until the top is browned and fruit is bubbling. Serve with vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
