broccoli florets
cut into large bite-size pieces, rinsed and drained
1
teaspoon
extra virgin olive oil or canola oil
1
teaspoon
sesame oil
1
teaspoon
toasted sesame seeds
(available in the spice section, add more if desired)
Instructions
Add freshly rinsed broccoli to a microwave-safe dish and partially cook on high for 2 minutes.
Start heating vegetable and sesame oil in a nonstick frying pan over medium heat.
After about 30 seconds, add the broccoli florets.
After the bottom of the broccoli has charred a bit, (2-3 minutes), turn the florets over to lightly brown the other side (about 1 - 2 minutes more).
Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the top and serve.
