Ingredients

  • Open Nature Hamburger Dill Pickle Chips or Slices
  • 1/2 cup almond flour traditional flour may be used
  • 2 eggs
  • a few dashes of hot sauce like Tabasco
  • 1 1/2 cups Panko bread crumbs I used whole wheat panko
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • olive oil cooking spray

Instructions

  • Drain the pickles well and pat dry with a paper towel.
  • Place the flour in one bowl, the eggs with tabasco in another bowl, and the breadcrumbs and seasonings in a third bowl to create your dredging station.
  • Whisk the eggs and tabasco until blended.  Stir the panko and seasonings to incorporate.
  • Dredge the pickle chips in the flour, then the egg, then the seasoned panko.  Set the breaded pickle chips in the air fryer basket.  Once you have a layer of pickle chips, spray with non-stick olive oil spray, then cook at 400° F for 5 minutes.
  • Turn the pickles over in the basket, spray again and cook for another 2 minutes.
