Ingredients

  • 1 bag Signature SELECT Tater Puffs
  • 1 1/2 cups Lucerne Shredded Cheese
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes sliced
  • 1 jalapeno sliced
  • 1 can black beans drained
  • 5 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 2 - 3 green onions diced
  • 1 avocado diced
  • sour cream for garnish, optional

Instructions

  • Prepare the tater tots according to package directions.
  • Once cooked, remove from the oven, place on serving dish and immediately top with shredded cheese.  If the cheese does not melt, place into the oven for a few minutes for the cheese to melt.
  • Top with black beans, crumbled bacon, sliced tomatoes, jalepenos, green onion and avocado.
  • Serve with salsa and sour cream on the side for guests to top their nachos how they like
  • Really there are no rules - you can add anything you want to tater tot nachos, the point is to use crispy tater tots as the base and top with your favorite nachos toppings.  You can totally make these vegetarian by skipping the bacon.  For vegan nachos - use vegan cheese.
