Instructions
Mix oil, soy sauce, and Steak Seasoning in a small bowl. Place steak in a large resealable plastic bag or glass dish. Add marinade; turn to coat well.
Refrigerate 30 minutes or longer for extra flavor. Remove steak from marinade. Discard any remaining marinade.
How to Grill a New York Strip Steak
Remove the steaks from the refrigerator about 20 minutes before grilling.
Heat the grill to high heat.
Place the steak on the grill and sear for 5 minutes until golden brown and slightly charred with grill marks.
Turn the steaks over and continue to grill 3 to 5 minutes for medium-rare (an internal temperature of 135 degrees F), 5 to 7 minutes for medium (140 degrees F), or 8 to 10 minutes for medium-well (150 degrees F).
Transfer the steaks to a cutting board or platter, tent loosely with foil, and let rest 5 minutes before slicing.
