Ingredients

Filling

  • 2 cups fresh blackberries mixed berries can also be used
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon arrowroot corn starch can also be used here

Cobbler Topping

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 sliced almonds chopped
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup coconut flakes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350° F. Lightly grease an 8" baking dish and set it aside.
  • In the baking dish, add the blackberries, cinnamon, coconut sugar, lemon juice, and arrowroot starch and mix well.
  • In a medium bowl, mix the almond flour, chopped almonds, coconut sugar, coconut flakes, and coconut oil until the mixture resembles a coarse meal.  Use your fingers to crumble the mixture slightly.
  • Sprinkle the topping all over the top.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Remove the cobbler from the oven and serve immediately.
