Instructions
If preparing homemade Russian dressing, combine all the ingredients in a bowl.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
Lightly butter one side of each slice of bread. Place the bread (buttered side down) on a plate to build the sandwich.
Layer the thousand island dressing, the sliced corned beef, the sauerkraut, then the Swiss cheese on the bread. Top with the other buttered bread, buttered side up.
Place the sandwich into the hot skillet. Toast for 4-6 minutes until each side is golden and toasted and the cheese is melted. Serve hot.
