4-6ouncetilapia filletscut into 2-inch pieces
1lb31/40 raw shrimppeeled and deveined
2Tbsextra virgin olive oil
2cupscelerythinly sliced
1cupyellow onion or leekdiced
4clovesgarlicminced
1/2cupdry white wine
3cupschicken broth
1 1/2cupsheavy creamat room temperature
1/2tspkosher salt
1/2tspblack pepper
2Tbslemon juice
Optional:
fresh dill
parsley
celery leaves
lemon zest
Instructions
Heat oil in a stockpot over medium-high heat.
Sauté celery and onion with salt and pepper until soft, about 4-5 minutes.
Add garlic and cook for about 30 seconds. Add wine and simmer for 2 minutes.
Pour broth into the pot and bring to a simmer. Add fish and shrimp, simmering until tilapia is opaque and the shrimp are pink for approximately 3-4 minutes.
Add heavy cream. Cook additional 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice. Serve with fresh dill, parsley and lemon zest as garnish.
