Ingredients

Hot Apple Cider

  • 8 cups unfiltered or raw apple cider
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 vanilla bean split lengthwise in half

Garnish

  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 cup coarsely-chopped toasted pecans
  • cinnamon sticks

Instructions

  • In a medium sauce pan, heat apple cider with cinnamon sticks and vanilla bean over low heat, about 10-15 minutes. Remove cinnamon sticks and vanilla bean.
  • Pour into mugs and garnish with whipping cream, pecans and cinnamon sticks. Serve.

Notes

Optional: Add a few orange slices when heating for a citrusy flavor.
