8thick slices white breadthick slices white bread

6ozgrated gruyere cheese

Instructions
Step 1
Whisk to combine milk and eggs. Set aside. In a 9 x 12 baking dish, place pieces bread with pointed side up into pan. Add 1 slice of ham and turkey and a couple tablespoons cheese between every other piece of bread. Pour egg mixture evenly over the top and let rest for 20 minutes on counter, or cover and refrigerate overnight.
Step 2
If stored overnight, let dish rest on counter for 20 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 30-40 minutes until lightly browned and cheese is melted in the center of the dish. Serve with fresh raspberries and raspberry preserves with a light dusting of powdered sugar, if desired.
