Place grape tomatoes in an 8 x 8-inch baking dish. Place the feta in the middle. Add the garlic, lemon zest, and seasonings as well as olive oil. Toss tomatoes and feta to make sure spices and oil are evenly distributed.
Bake in the oven for 40 minutes, or until tomatoes and feta are well caramelized and the tomatoes have mostly burst open.
Remove from the oven and mash all ingredients together with a fork until well combined.
Serve immediately with crudité or sliced baguette.
