Greek Salad ingredients
1/4red onionthinly sliced
1cupbaby spinach
2Tbschopped kalamata olives
1/4cupcrumbled feta
1Tbsbalsamic glaze
Instructions
Heat grill to medium (375º-425º) and carefully oil the grates.
In a bowl, add lamb, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper. Gently combine, being careful not to over mix. Divide and shape into four equal-size patties. Using your thumb, create a dent in the center of each patty, which allows for more even cooking.
Grill 3-4 minutes each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 160º. During the last 2 minutes, add pitas to the grill and cook for 1 minute on each side. Remove and set aside. Remove burgers from grill, tent with aluminum foil and let rest for 5 minutes.
In a small bowl, combine salad ingredients and lightly toss. To assemble, add a small handful of salad to the pita, then add the burger.
