Safeway Just for U is now Safeway for U.
In addition to the new newly launched integrated grocery shopping, savings, and loyalty app, Safeway has re-branded its Just for U program, and it’s now called Safeway for U. You get the same benefits that were always available for “club members”, but with a new name and member benefits/perks.
If you are new to saving at Safeway, you can sign up for Safeway for U online at Safeway.com, or by downloading the Safeway app from the app store or google play. With Safeway for U, you can view in-store pricing, shop for groceries to be delivered or picked up, save with digital coupons and earn and redeem rewards for extra savings on gas and groceries.

I get the feeling that the “new” once a month freebie is replacing the “Saturday Sampler.” Is that true? I liked the Saturday Sampler – it was a freebie EVERY WEEK.
Hi Lynn, time will tell. I’m not sure but I think you are probably right, which is a bummer because we were getting the free deals weekly and it will change to once a month. Fingers crossed that we are both wrong 😉
