5 Easy Valentine’s Desserts You Can Make

Homemade Valentine’s desserts are a special way to share treats with your family and friends. There is still time to bake this week and I have some ideas for you!

Chocolate is always a good place to start! Now I am happy with a chocolate dessert year-round but on Valentine’s Day chocolate gets to shine.  In the past, we shared a perfect Chocolate Mug Cake dessert that is great for one or two to share.

But, if you are baking for a crowd, this Chocolate and Wine Bundt Cake is the recipe for you. A Bundt cake serves at least 16 people, more if you slice the cake in smaller pieces. This cake is a favorite for a Galentine’s celebration—get your girlfriends together and combine your love of wine and chocolate in one!

Flourless Chocolate Cake with a Chocolate Ganache is a star recipe when you need a naturally gluten free cake. It is the type of cake that your gluten free friends will appreciate and those who don’t require gluten free won’t even notice that it is missing! The chocolate ganache is a cinch to pull together and it creates a beautiful finish on this decadent chocolate cake.

Heart shaped desserts are also popular this time of year. These simple stained glass heart cookies  add a festive touch with their heart shape and the inside splash of color.

Easy and quick desserts make ideal choices for new bakers or for kids who want to bake for their parents. Homemade fudge is easy, fast, and made in the microwave. This chocolate and peanut butter fudge  will satisfy your Valentine’s sweet tooth!

And then let’s finish up our list with a healthy option—this DIY fruit bouquet is my go-to dessert to share at school or to share with friends and family who might have allergy concerns. Red and pink fruits like watermelon or raspberries are just right for Valentine desserts. Use a heart shaped cookie cutter to make your fruit pieces ready for Valentine’s Day! So easy!
