You can actually use any flavor of ice cream to make an affogato. Vanilla, chocolate, espresso, caramel are my favorite flavors for an affogato. You can also use any toppings. Salted caramel and chocolate syrup are my personal favorites. You can also sprinkle cinnamon, nutmeg or not top it at all.

Moose Tracks Affogato With Peanut Brittle Topping
Blend Safeway’s Signature SELECT Moose Tracks Ice Cream with three ounces of brewed Signature SELECT Coffee, Kona Blend. Top with whipped cream, peanut brittle, and chocolate shavings and you’ve got a heavenly Italian-inspired treat.
Ingredients
- 2 (2 ounce) scoops Signature SELECT Moose Tracks Ice Cream
- 3 ounces prepared Signature SELECT Coffee, Kona Blend
- Soft whipped cream
- Peanut Brittle (crushed)
- Chocolate Shavings
How To Make an Affogato
Add 2 scoops of ice cream to a clear parfait glass.
Pour half a cup of strong brewed coffee or espresso over ice cream.
Top with shaved chocolate and crushed peanut brittle.
