The Smoked Meatloaf Meal Kit comes with three vacuum packed pouches that contain the meatloaf with bacon and topped with a sweet and spicy glaze, roasted new potatoes and a vegetable medley including yellow carrots, broccoli, green beans and red peppers.  The meatloaf is smoked for two hours with uncured bacon and then topped with a sweet and spicy glaze that is unique and delicious!

To prepare the meal kit, you can microwave each pouch for 2 1/2 minutes, but the suggested method is to boil the packets for 15 minutes until they are fully heated.

Bourbon Brothers Meatloaf Meal Kit Review

I prepared the meatloaf meal kit for my family to try and I used the recommended boiling method to prepare the meal.  I was nervous that it would not be enough food, however I was able to get 4 slices of meatloaf out of the pouch, which was plenty for 2 people.  The veggies and potatoes were also plentiful and no one left the table hungry!  The meatloaf is delicious!  You can taste fresh chopped onions, peppers, a little liquid smoke flavor, and an outstanding sauce.  It

My kids and husband all said this was way better than my meatloaf, so I guess I need to get the recipe or buy this more often!  The potatoes were tender and well seasoned and the veggies were maybe cooked a little longer than I normally cook them, but the carrots were crisp, only the broccoli was a little soft.

The bottom line is that these are really good and I would recommend them and purchase again.  Because I have a family of five, the protein packs are a little more appealing for me as there are never just 2 of use eating dinner, and with the protein packs, I can whip up a quick side salad and throw some fries in the oven and make some BBQ Pulled Pork sandwiches with fries and cole slaw in 15 minutes!  Perfect for a busy schedule with kids sports, school work and activities!
