  1. Nice find. The link you list actually gets you an email from Enlightened containing a pdf for three coupons, in addition to the 1 you list above, they also sent:
    $1.00/2 Enlightened Marshmallow Treats
    $1.00/2 Roasted Broad Bean Crisps

However, these coupons may or may not work at Safeway depending on how strictly your Safeway follows the official Safeway Coupon policy. That policy:
    16. Internet printed coupons must have serial numbers and must follow an industry-standard format.
And the Enlightened coupons do NOT have a serial number on them.
“Serial number” refers to a “unique” number that differentiates that coupon from any other coupon with the same “coupon number” For example, on the common coupons.com coupons there is a dot code (with number under it) in upper right and this is the unique serial number, while there is a bar code (with number above it) in lower left and this is the coupon number. The coupon number appears the same on all coupons for the same offer, whereas the serial number on each coupon is unique to that specific printed coupon.

The Enlightened coupons have a coupon number that follows industry-standard format, but they do NOT have a unique serial number on them. In fact, because the Enlightened Coupons are sent to you as a pdf document that can be printed an unlimited # of times, these are among the most abused types of coupons and many, many stores will not accept them.

Until very recently I never actually found this to be a problem at Safeway. But this week, I had two coupons rejected at self-service checkout and ultimately the reason was because they did not have a unique serial number.

    1. Not all unique serial numbers are dot coded. Some just appear on coupons as a number. An example of a coupon printed from the Chobani.com website:
      Offer ID: 012775
      UID: 185263105913
Offer ID is the coupon number, UID is the unique ID (serial number).

And note that the unique serial number requirement ONLY applies to internet printed coupons and not to insert coupons.
