General Mills Cereal Sale and Coupons at Safeway

Wheaties hold a special nostalgia for me – likely because I’m a child of the 80’s when Olympic athletes like Bruce Jenner and Mary Lou Reton as well as other sports hero’s like my fave – Michael Jordan would grace the cover of the Wheaties box and be promoted through television commercials during the Saturday morning cartoons!  With three brothers, we ALWAYS had Wheaties in the house!  They are rarely on sale so when I spotted them included in the new General Mills cereal promo this week, I was definitely taken a back!

Pick up Wheaties on sale for $1.99 at Safeway with the new pick 5 or more promo and when you pair the sale with a new coupon, you can bring the cost down to just $1.49  a box!  Normally $4.99 a box, you are saving $3.47, which is 70%.  Cheerios, Multi-Grain Cheerios and Honey-Nut Cheerios will be just $.99 a box as will Lucky Charms Cereal with the new printable coupons we’ve linked below.
