Grilled Peach Sundaes

Nothing tastes like summer more to me than fresh Colorado Palisade peaches.

One of my favorite and most simple ways to serve fresh peaches is grilled with a little ice cream and ground cinnamon.  You won’t believe the sweetness achieved by grilling the peaches.  It’s best to not touch them when they are on the grill so that they develop gorgeous grill marks and get caramelization as a result.

I first made this for my kids a few years ago and they laughed and couldn’t believe I was “ruining” a peach by grilling it.  Let me tell you, I had the last laugh and this is one of the most requested desserts from my kids anytime we have peaches in the house!
