Went to two different Safeway’s in Denver today. Both had the Hormel Chili with Beans marked on shelves with tags that said $1.49 sale price, or $0.99 when part of pick 5 (not $0.88 when part of pick 5). In one of the stores these initially rang up at the $0.99 pick 5 price, but when I showed them the weekly ad that showed a pick 5 price of $0.88 they honored the printed ad price. In the other store the items rang up at the correct $0.88 pick 5 price (even though shelf tags showed $0.99).
Thanks for your comment! I noticed the Kraft BBQ Sauce also said $.99 – but it too is $.88 in the ad. Hopefully Safeway will have it figured out tomorrow!
