Last Day for Monopoly Tickets
Today, Tuesday, May 4th is the last day that you can earn Monopoly tickets at Safeway.
You have until May 18th to scan to enter your digital coupons and until May 27th to redeem the instant winner tickets.
May 18th is also the deadline to scan and enter your digital codes for tokens and 2nd chance prizes.
Head into Safeway to score great deals on Cinco de Mayo or Taco Tuesday fixings, like salsa, taco shells, tortillas, ground beef, and more and get your Monopoly game pieces!

When do they do the drawing for the final sweepstakes prizes? I do not see any dates after the May 18th deadline?
May 28th. Per the rules: Mon 14 Last Chance Sweepstakes: If the one $1,000,000 Cash Instant Win prize ($1,000,000 paid via a 30-year annuity of $33,333.33 per year) (as described in Section 5, Paragraph A and referred to as the $1,000,000 Cash Prize), is not claimed by May 26, 2021, ONLY THEN will a random last chance drawing from all valid MON-14 Last Chance Sweepstakes entries (as described in these rules) occur on or about May 28, 2021 for one $1,000,000 Cash (30-year annuity with no interest) prize. An award of one $1,000,000 Cash Prize is guaranteed.
I see that you can no longer buy safeway rewards or cash with your tokens, I thought that went through the 18th as well?
Hi Laura – There are limits on all the prizes, so once the limits are reached, the prizes are not available anymore.
Hi after my shopping trip last night at Safeway I earned 550ish tickets! I was scanning then in when my app suddenly froze. I’ve contacted the Safeway help center and they are not sure how to fix the issue. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled the app to see if it could help to no avail. I still have about 200 tickets to scan in. The screen it is locked on is when you pick your tiles. It will go no further. Everytime it keeps going to that screen. Please help.
Hi Carmen – There are a lot of people scanning right now – so you may just want to wait until tomorrow. The system is likely bogged down. You have until 5/18 to scan the coupons and digital codes and until 5/27 to redeem the coupons and instant win prizes.
I was unable to turn in my instant winner coupons on 05/29/18 – am I able to still get anything of the items that were missing when I shopped ?
The coupons expired on 5/29, so they will no longer scan in the system.
