The coupon you cite has a stated requirement on it as follows: “Minimum $1.99 purchase required.” When I attempted to use this coupon at self-checkout, machine locked up until attendant came over. They then told me this coupon will ONLY work if the base price of the cheese is $1.99 or more. They would NOT accept the coupon when price of cheese before coupon was $1.77.
