O Organics Juice Blends

I love the O Organics line and purchase many O Organics products regularly.
Juice is a special treat at my house and we purchase it mostly to flavor kale smoothies and for making homemade popsicles in the summer. What I like about the new O Organics Juice Blends is that you are getting great nutrients, minerals and vitamins from the organic fruits and vegetables in each carton of juice. The juices are made from pureed and concentrated fruits and vegetables and have added filtered water, lemon juice and are fortified with vitamins and minerals like vitamin C, vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and spirulina, but have no added sugar!
These juices remind me of juices that you get in Europe because they are slightly thicker than conventional fruit juices. The new O Organics Juice Blends are available in three delicious flavors, Banana Strawberry, Greens & More, and Tropical Mango. Read my review of each of the flavors below.
O Organics Banana Strawberry Juice
The O Organics Banana Strawberry Juice is a flavored blend of banana, strawberry, apple and lemon juices. True to its name, this juice blend tastes just like a strawberry banana smoothie because it’s quite thick from the banana and strawberry puree. It’s refreshing and delicious. We had an impromptu tasting party during my daughter’s birthday party last week and this was a popular flavor for all the kids. I used it in my kale shake and it added a wonderful strawberry banana flavor that hid the bitter kale taste immediately.
Ingredients: filtered water, organic banana puree, organic strawberry puree, organic apple juice concentrate, organic natural flavors, organic purple carrot juice concentrate (for color), organic lemon juice concentrate, ascorbic acid (vitamin C)
It contains 150 calories in an 8 oz serving and has 27 grams of natural sugar.
O Organics Greens & More Juice
The O Organics Greens & More Fruit Juice has a blend of apple, banana, mango, kiwi, kale, apple, lemon, passionfruit and spinach. I will be honest, this was my favorite flavor. My son loved it, but my girls shied away because it was green and they were afraid it would taste like their dad’s kale shakes (no fruits), but they were so wrong! All I could taste was mango, lemon, apple, passionfruit and maybe a touch of kiwi. I did not taste the spinach or kale or even the superfood spirulina powder that’s added as a fabulous benefit to the juice. Spirulina is a natural “algae” (cyanbacteria) powder that is high in protein and a good source of antioxidants, B-vitamins and other nutrients. It’s not very pleasant tasting, but you don’t taste it at all in the juice. The juice is like a refreshing green smoothie (minus the fiber of the kale).

O Organics Tropical Mango Juice
The O Organics Tropical Mango Juice contains a blend of mango, banana, apple, orange, pineapple and lemon juice. The juice is super light, refreshing and delicious. It is thicker than traditional fruit juices because it contains mango and banana puree, which makes it delicious. This was my children’s favorite juice. Actually, they loved to mix the banana strawberry with the tropical mango juice in the same cup and that was their favorite flavor and color combination!
