Open Nature Fruit & Nut Bars

Open Nature Fruit & Nut Bars

The next time you are hiking, biking, golfing, playing tennis or working out, take along the new Open Nature Fruit & Nut Bars as your post-workout snack, or anytime you are craving a nutritious bar.  The new all natural Open Nature Fruit & Nut Bars are made with pure, wholesome ingredients you’ve come to expect from the Open Nature brand, available exclusively at Safeway. These are the perfect bars to take with you anytime you need a quick protein and energy jolt.  They contain no artificial flavors or colors, are gluten free and are verified Non-GMO.  I received the new bars to review and share my thoughts with you here.  I am a huge fan of all natural fruit and nut bars, and these are the closest bars I’ve found to the popular KIND bars.

If you can’t tolerate whey protein or heavy doses of soy protein, these bars are a great alternative because the protein comes from the nuts and is all natural, so no risk of a tummy ache from dairy or excess soy!

The Open Nature Fruit & Nut bars retail for $1.49 each and are often on sale for $1.00 or less and often included in the protein and nutrition bar promotions at Safeway where you save an extra 10% when you buy 6 bars (mix and match).

I recently took the Open Nature Cranberry Almond bar on a hike I did last week and it was a perfect snack to keep my body fueled and energized to complete the 3 mile hike and stave off hunger!  This is my new go-to snack for hiking, biking and paddle-boarding over at Bear Creek Lake!  My husband loves them as an afternoon snack with a cup of coffee.  However you like to snack, be sure to pick these new bars up in the protein and nutrition bar aisle at your local Safeway.

  1. Can no longer find different flavors of Open Nature fruit and nut bars at the Randall’s located in Round Rock, Texas. Would like to know if they’ve been discontinued or if just not available at this location. Will also try asking management, even though they’re not usually very helpful.

We were given a coupon for an open nature nut bar after we tasted a sample.
The sample we tasted has NEVER been seen at the TWO safeway stores near us.
    Bait and switch ploy????

    1. Check the protein bar aisle and also check the granola bar aisle – they seem to have 2 locations at my store in Denver.

  3. Where can I buy Open Nature Dark Chocolate Cinnamon Pecan Nut Bars in Texas store?
I can’t find any Texas stores that carry the Open Nature brand. My daughter tasted one in the Austin area, but forgot to ask where it was purchased.

    1. It should be available at your local Albertsons store. Try the breakfast aisle or the protein bar aisle or ask the store Director and they should be able to order them for you.
