Pepperoni Pizza Chicken
A low-carb baked chicken recipe – this pepperoni pizza chicken is keto, gluten-free, easy to make, and delicious. Kids love this dish because of the pepperoni and adults love it because of its versatility and ease of preparation. Ingredients in Pepperoni Pizza Chicken
- 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced into 3 cutlets
- 3 cups tomato-basil or marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 onion thinly sliced
- 8 oz black olives, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 6 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
- basil or fresh parsley, chopped to garnish
How to Make Pepperoni Pizza Chicken Bake
Preheat the oven to 375° F.
Spray a 9×11 or 9×13 casserole dish with non-stick olive oil spray.
Start by slicing the chicken breasts into 3 thin cutlets.
Mix the garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper into a small bowl until combined.
Layer the marinara sauce into the baking dish, then top with the sliced chicken breasts. Drizzle with olive oil, then season with garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Top with additional marinara sauce, pepperoni, shredded cheese, sliced onions, olives, minced garlic, and additional pepperoni.
Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes. Uncover and bake for 5 more minutes until the cheese is melted and gooey. The chicken is done when it registers 165° internal temperature when measured with an internal thermometer.

A simple green salad, some spaghetti or any shaped pasta noodles, and garlic toastto sop up all the sauce and cheese.
