I just went to Safeway today and got the Powerade Powerwater 20 oz size. It was supposed to be FREE,but I ended up being charged for it. Due to the Coronavirus, the lines are extremely long. I hurried through the self checked out so others could do the same.
I came home to find that I was charged for the FREE item. Why does Safeway say it’s FREE in my account, but then charge me for it in the store. It’s one of the reasons I don’t buy exclusively at Safeway anymore. I want my money back which means yet another trip to the store where people are going crazy due to this virus.
Hi Barbara – Did you add the FREE Offer to your loyalty card? You can wait for things to settle down a bit and go back for your refund. I would suggest taking a screen shot of the free offer in your Just for U account.
why does the Safeway ad on here not match the ad in store. how do I receive Safeway ad within my location. Albertson and Safeway ads are different. but when I sign in, I am sent to Albertsons store.

Hi Dan – Safeway/Albertsons has 13 divisions across the country. When you go to Safeway.com and sign in, you should see your local ad. You can change your location on Safeway.com as well if you are not seeing the correct ad. SuperSafeway is a personal blog that supports the Denver division, which is why the ad shown here may be different for your region.
I’d like to add specific deals listed on the Supersafeway email. In this case, it’s Campbell’s canned soups at 49c each. I can find them on the webpage, but in order to clip, I’m directed to go to the Just 4 U app (which I have on my phone) and look for Weekend Deals. I’ve gone to the app repeatedly and there is no such thing as Weekend Deals. I’ve tried searching all deals by soup, and by Campbell’s. Would you please tell me where I’m going wrong? is this deal not available at my store?
Hi Suzanne – Sorry for the trouble. The app should show the weekend deals under new deals starting Friday morning. However, I must point out that Safeway/Albertsons has 13 divisions across the country and offers vary by region. SuperSafeway is a personal blog that supports the Denver division, which includes CO, NM, WY, SD, and NE. If you are not in the Denver division, you will have other offers on your Just for U account.
Why can we not click on the weekly ad and review it without going through all the diffent steps you require. Simple is easy and why the great change unfortunately not for the better

why can’t I click on an item to make a shopping list and click a coupon?
Why is it so hard to log in . I have to go from site to site to find a log on link! It should be available at every site.
I do not understand how to save the coupons or save to my accct so I can get the deals
Hi Lynda – we tell you where the coupons can be found in each specific deal post. So if they are Just for U coupon deals – you go to Safeway.com/JustforU https://www.safeway.com/justforu-guest.html and click to load the offers to your account. If they are printable coupons, then you click the link and print the coupon. If they are SmartSource or RetailMeNot coupons, they come from the Sunday coupon inserts. The link you show above goes to the Safeway 10-16 April 2019 matchups, not the 17-23 April ones.
