Signature RESERVE Ice Cream
If you want a little taste of heaven this weekend – head into your local Safeway where you can get one of the new ultra premium Signature RESERVE ice cream pints for just $.99 after a sale and a new Just for U Digital Coupon. This ice cream is the first of many new products coming to Safeway under the Signature RESERVE line. While I don’t know what else is coming, I understand hundreds of new premium and gourmet products will be available in stores under the Signature RESERVE brand by the end of the year. I am so fortunate that I was able to bring home 2 pints to sample – and let me tell you, if you like REAL ice cream, you will LOVE the new Signature RESERVE Ice Cream flavors! Made with real cream and exotic ingredients like Indian cardamom, Madagascar Vanilla and Brazilian Guava, you’re sure to fall in love with several of the new flavors.
I sampled the Indian Cardamom Pistachio Ice Cream and it is creamy, luscious ice cream with a spicy sweet cardamom flavor and delicious roasted, chopped pistachios throughout.
The Bourbon Maple Blondie flavor is my favorite so far – it’s amaaaaazing. Better than Haagen Dazs folks! It has a salted caramel swirl and blondie pieces throughout the pint. The creamy, sweet maple flavor is subtle compared to the salted caramel swirl and then the blondie pieces are the icing on the cake.
I think this is the most perfect ice cream flavor ever invented! I know the new trend in ice cream is low calorie and low fat options – but those are simply not real ice cream like this is and sometimes you just have to have the real thing as a treat for yourself. I always say you can eat everything in moderation!

There are actually 7 flavors under this new line, but my store only had 6 in stock the day I was there – so only 6 are pictured above. The flavors include Colombian Cold Brew Caramel Ice Cream, Caramel Apple Chai Ice Cream, Madagascar Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Indian Cardamom Pistachio Ice Cream, Bourbon Maple Blondie Ice Cream, Brazilian Guava Cheesecake Ice Cream and Belgium Chocolate Almond Ice Cream.

There are a lot of people who are lactose intolerant and need a dairy free product. It would be very nice is Safeway Select Ice Creams would give these folks a couple of varieties. Chocolate and Vanilla would be nice.
I bought the Indian Cardamom pistachio ice cream because I love the exotic flavor of cardamom. I was disappointed when I could not taste any cardamom or spices at all. I looked at the ingredients on the back, and there is no cardamom listed as an ingredient. What’s up with that!?
I tried it and definately tasted the cardamom. As an indian, my entire family loved this cardamom pistachio ice cream. Unfortunately they have bot restocked again ….

Why has my Safeway in madras and Redmond, Oregon no longer stocking these. They are brand new and now gone

Bummer! Are you in the Denver Division which includes CO, NM, SD, NE and WY? It does say Special Pick, so that might mean it’s a sort of “personalized” offer, but I’m not sure. I thought everyone would have it.
