Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie
This giant skillet chocolate chip cookie is made with melted butter and milk chocolate chips so it adds richness to the cookie. It’s so easy to make and a perfect dessert for parties, game day, and even Valentine’s Day. Gooey chocolate chips paired with M&M’s and flaky sea salt make a perfect skillet cookie!
My nephew just turned 17 and he hates cake so when I asked him what I could make him for his birthday he replied a cookie cake.. so here’s Emerson’s giant skillet cookie “cake” adorned with pink and red M&M’s to celebrate the occasion.
This skillet cookie is really delicious and so much easier to make than individual cookies. It’s gooey in the center and crisp on the edges. The flaky sea salt is totally necessary as it balances the sweetness of the milk chocolate chips. Of course, you can substitute semi-sweet or even dark chocolate if you prefer.
