Tillamook Cheese Sauce Starters

Tillamook Sauce Starters are available in 3 delicious flavors at Safeway including Three Cheese Sauce Starter, Creamy Alfredo Sauce Starter, and Spicy Queso Sauce Starter.  My family loves cheese and we eat it on everything we possibly can.   I recently purchased all three flavors to sample and I have to tell you – instant love and rave reviews from the kids and my husband!

First off, Tillamook cheese is the most flavorful, creamy cheese on the market (in my opinion).  There must be something special in the water or the grass that the cows eat in Oregon where Tillamook cheese is made that makes this cheese so amazing.

First we tried the three cheese sauce over elbow macaroni to make homemade mac and cheese and I will tell you, my entire family devoured it and wanted seconds.  We also loved the alfredo that I make into linguini alfredo with chicken and broccoli and the queso – frankly it speaks for itself – a little spicy, a lot of flavor!

I love the simplicity of the concept – mix the cheese with the sauce packet and milk and the result is a creamy, delicious cheese sauce that pairs well with pasta, or you can use it to top enchiladas, as the base for a broccoli cheddar soup, drizzle it over veggies, nachos and more!
