S’more Marshmallow Pops
My three kiddos are having Valentine’s parties next week and I signed up to bring a festive dessert to each party. I don’t have time to bake 90 cookies, but I certainly have time to make these adorable s’mores pops. With three simple ingredients, they are perfect and oh so easy to assemble that the kids can help make the treats for their parties. Who doesn’t love the combination of marshmallows, melted chocolate and graham crackers? The photo above shows pretzel sticks, which work great because then the whole treat is edible, or you can choose to use pink or red straws as the sticks as shown in the video below.
As far as sale ingredients for these cute treats – Safeway has the Ghirardelli chocolate chips on sale for $3.00, the Safeway brand graham crackers on sale for $1.50 a box and marshmallows are always cheap at $1.00 per bag. If you prefer the Nabisco Honey Maid Graham Crackers those are on sale for $3.99 and there is a Checkout 51 Rebate available for additional savings. To make the crumbs, simple put into a plastic gallon size storage bag and crush with a rolling pin. Crushing crackers is always a highlight for my kids!
S’more Marshmallow Pops
Ingredients
Directions:
1. Insert one end of each pretzel stick into the marshmallow
2. Dip each marshmallow, one at a time, in chocolate then in graham cracker crumbs, turning to evenly coat marshmallow with each; place on parchment-covered baking sheet.
3. Refrigerate 30 min. or until chocolate coating is firm.
