10 Easy Dishes You Can Make with Rotisserie Chicken

A rotisserie chicken is one of the best ways to make easy and delicious meals. It’s cooked and ready to go and we know they are delicious from the Safeway deli. Tender and moist, rotisserie chicken is the perfect cooked-for-you ingredient for a lot of fantastic meals.

There are days when you just don’t have the time, the patience, or the energy to make a complete meal, so a roasted chicken from the Safeway deli is the perfect solution.  We get one at least twice a month and it pretty much gets devoured in one sitting, but sometimes I’ll be able to use it for other recipes as well.

Safeway has a great deal on their Signature Cafe rotisserie chickens this week – they are just $5.99 each with a digital coupon.

See below for some great meal ideas you can make with a rotisserie chicken.    I always save the carcass/bones and make a delicious bone broth with it.

The recipe I make most often with left over rotisserie chicken is a classic chicken noodle soup.  I remove as much of the meat as I can and boil the chicken carcass with celery, onions and carrots for several hours, or I’ll put it into the slow cooker to make a delicious bone broth that I use to make my chicken noodle soup.
