$5 Donut Friday

Are you ready for for this huge storm this weekend?   Colorado is going to get a ton of precipitation this weekend.  Snow in the mountains, rain and maybe snow down here.  My poor trees with their gorgeous blooms will suffer.

In preparation for the storm, I splurged on something I would normally never buy, but they looked so good when I was at the store this morning shopping for my $5 Friday deals, I couldn’t resist.

I bought a dozen donuts for just $5 today!  That is $.41 per donut!  I think my kids have had maybe one donut their whole lives, but I felt like treating, especially since they’ve had testing all week!  My favorite are the apple fritters and of course my kids love anything frosted!
