Avocado Deviled Eggs
Deviled eggs are always a welcome addition to a buffet-style meal or hors d’oeuvres tray! Get festive and fancy by adding avocado, Sriracha, and a little lime to your eggs’ filling. We predict you’ll have a popular new signature dish people will request for years to come!
Deviled Eggs and Easter go hand in hand in our home.
Since the kids love to dye eggs with shaving cream, we always dye between 24 – 36 eggs and have plenty of hard-boiled eggs on hand for easy and delicious avocado deviled eggs and bacon deviled eggs.
This avocado deviled eggs recipe is super easy to put together.
Simply smash some ripe avocado and mix with the egg yolks, a pinch of lime zest, salt and pepper and put the mixture back into the egg white. Top with a squirt of sriracha sauce to give it the perfect kick.
Rather than using traditional mayo and mustard, these avocado deviled eggs get their flavor from the avocado and lime zest and they are a gorgeous shade of lime green, which is quite festive for your Easter table.
Ingredients
- 2 eggs hard boiled
- 2 Tbs avocado
- 1 tsp lime zest
- pinch of kosher salt
- pinch of ground black pepper
- Sriracha sauce to taste
Instructions
- Cut eggs in half, lengthwise. Scoop yolk into a small bowl. Add avocado, lime zest, salt and pepper. Mash with a fork until well combined. Spoon egg yolk mixture into egg whites. Top with Sriracha sauce.

Cool concept! Makes me think of a new way to have green eggs and ham. ? ?
I made these and the kiddos loved them! They liked the fact that they were light green. Thanks for the great recipe.
I’m going to try these, except do what I do with other deviled egg recipes: mix in with ENTIRE egg (whites as well as yolks roughly mashed), not just yolk. THEN it maks a spicy egg salad! Tasty sandwiches with a hearty bread. Also might add a little chopped jalapeno for more kick.
Yum! I love the jalapeno idea. I’ll have to try it also.
