I’m super excited to announce the new Super Safeway site layout. It’s a project I’ve been working on for months to enhance your user experience on Super Safeway.
The new site is optimized for mobile and makes it easy to find recipes and saving opportunities, as well as new product launches at Safeway. My favorite feature is the new Recipe Index which allows you to search the recipes by category. I hope you check it out!
If you are only here for the deals, you’ll still find hot deals at Safeway through the following posts:
- Safeway weekly ad, posted every Tuesday at 8 am
- Safeway coupon matchups, the best 25 deals (must-do deals) updated every Wednesday at 8 am
- Digital-only Big Book of Savings, updated monthly
- Safeway Rewards and digital coupons
- New product launches/reviews on the NEW Safeway Brands page
- in-store deals in our Safeway Couponing Facebook group
- Printable Coupons
Since SuperSafeway is an independent personal blog, not sponsored by Safeway, I’ve made a decision to focus exclusively on evergreen content. What does this mean?
It means I will not be doing deal-only blog posts as I did in the past. While I loved finding deals and promoting them through the site, it did nothing for my business’ sustainable, long-term growth.
Evergreen content is a marketing term used to describe content that is long-lasting and never expires. Since I switched to sharing recipes exclusively during the pandemic, I’ve seen great growth in my organic traffic. The key to growing a blog business is search engine optimization, keyword research, and trending topics that larger audiences can find through search. Unfortunately posting deals that last 6 days or less that are relevant in only 5 markets is not a sustainable business.
I hope you love the new site. My goal is to create 2-3 new recipes based on sales each week. I will also be launching a new newsletter format in the coming weeks.
If you have any feedback or comments, recipe requests, or saving at Safeway questions, please be sure to post them in the comments below.
