Available in uncured pepperoni and Margherita pizza flavors.
The Margherita Pizza has a cauliflower crust topped with tomato sauce, a blend of mozzarella, parmesan and romano cheeses, tomatoes and basil.
The Uncured Pepperoni Pizza has a cauliflower crust topped with tomato sauce, a blend of mozzarella cheese and uncured pepperoni.
Food allergies and food intolerances are a growing public health concern causing higher consumer demand for products that are specially made to meet special dietary restrictions. Open Nature has met the call with this new line of gluten-free pizzas now available in the deli.
The cauliflower crust is made with a unique blend of freshly grated cauliflower, mozzarella cheese, rice flour, egg whites, flax meal, rice starch and garlic powder.
Open Nature Cauliflower Crust Pizza Review
I recently tried both the pizzas and was pleasantly surprised at the delicious flavor of the pizza. The crust is thin, crispy, the sauce is full of flavor, there was plenty of cheese and toppings.
I’ve yet to find a cauliflower crust pizza that is crisp all the way through, but the edges of the crust were incredibly crispy, which made it worthwhile to get to the end of the pizza.
The kids liked it too – they knew it was different because it was a softer crust, but they ate it without complaint and enjoyed several slices each!
Having tried all the deli pizzas, I can honestly say this cauliflower crust pizza is my favorite of the fresh pizzas because of the thin crust. It is lower in calories and carbs because of the crust.

1/3 of the Margherita pizza has 290 calories, 13 grams of fat, 710 mg. of sodium, 27 total carbs, 15 grams of protein.
1/3 of the Uncured Pepperoni Pizza has 390 calories, 21 grams of fat 1140 mg. of sodium, 28 grams of carbs, and 21 grams of protein.
Serve with a side salad or coleslaw for added nutrition.
You’ll find the pizzas in the deli at your local Safeway or Albertson’s affiliate store with the traditional flour pizzas.
