Siggi’s Icelandic Yogurt As Low As $.63 at Safeway, Save 71%

This week is a great week to pick up Siggi’s Icelandic Style Skyr Yogurt for a great price at Safeway.  The yogurt is on sale for $1.50 a cup and you can pair the sale with a printable manufacturer coupon as well as an ibotta cashback offer to bring the price down to just $.63 a cup.

I love that they use less sugar in their yogurt and have more protein than some of the other yogurts.

  1. Something I have found out about Siggi’s: It freezes very well – much, much better than most yogurts. I find I can stock up on it when it’s cheap; freeze it; and then later thaw it without loosing very much of the pre-freeze texture (whereas most other yogurts really fall apart texture-wise when thawed out).

    1. REALLY? I’ve never frozen yogurt, didn’t think you could as I’ve always thought the texture would be strange upon thawing! Thanks for the tip!

      1. From what I’ve read the reason Siggi’s freezes/thaws better than most yogurt is that all Icelandic Yogurt (Skyr) is technically a fresh sour milk cheese similar to curd cheese eaten in Germany and Russia. It is technically a cheese because rennet is used to help curdle/set it. (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skyr )

  2. In addition to the printable coupon you cite, for most of the past year many (maybe even most) of the Siggi Yogurt cups also have a coupon for the same $1.00/2 printed on the bottom side of the aluminum foil top that you peel away to get at the Yogurt. So if you carefully peel this back without ripping it, you’ll probably get another coupon! And all of these coupons work on any of the Siggi products so you can use them on the Siggi’s Swedish-Style Drinkable Yogurt as well.
