Bummer. My Ibotta account only shows a 25¢ rebate.
Wow! You have a very different Ibotta than I have! The only Crest rebates my Ibotta account offers for purchases from Safeway are for:
Crest Complete Toothpaste, 4.6 oz or larger ($0.25) (Expires 30Sep17) (Multiple stores including Safeway)
The only $1.00 rebate for Crest Complete Toothpaste my Ibotta shows is specifically restricted to Walmart.
A question also. I am somewhat new to Ibotta and so far have not been able to see anything that states how many times a rebate can be claimed. In this post you say the rebate can be claimed 3 times. What in Ibotta tells you this?
You will most likely see an icon on the offer that almost resembles a stack of cards. Also, if you click on the rebate itself, it’ll take you to a new screen, the information that follows will explain it to you in detail. I hope that helps.
I’m even more confused now. I can’t find any image that resembles a stack of cards anywhere among the hundred + rebates available through Ibotta/Safeway. None of the detailed pages for these rebates listed anything about multiple offers anywhere on their page that I can see. The Ibotta help page says rebates that can be claimed multiple times from same receipt have “Limit X per receipt” on that rebate’s page, but nowhere have I been able to find any wording to that effect.
What am I missing?
Hi Arthur. I’m sorry to have caused confusion. My rebate shows that it can be redeemed 3 times in one transaction, I will post that image in the post so you can see it. Of course my $1.00 cash back rebate has already disappeared, but I do have a $.25 cash back rebate remaining that can be used 3 times in one transaction, so that is what I will post. I would recommend upgrading to the latest version of ibotta to see if that makes a difference for you.
Thanks. The new image cleared things up for me. The ‘Details’ were just outside normal field of view on screen for me and it is a bit tricky to scroll down to it (you have to hit it just right or the scroll doesn’t move at all).
