$5 Rotisserie Chicken Deal

A rotisserie chicken is one of the best ways to make easy and delicious meals. It’s cooked and ready to go and we know they are delicious from the Safeway deli. Tender and moist, rotisserie chicken is the perfect cooked-for-you ingredient for a lot of fantastic meals.

There are days when you just don’t have the time, the patience or the energy to make a complete meal, so a roasted chicken from the Safeway deli is the perfect solution.

We get one at least twice a month and it pretty much gets devoured in one sitting, but sometimes I’ll be able to use it for other recipes as well.

Safeway has a great deal on their Signature Cafe rotisserie chickens now through April 9th they are just $5.00 each.

5 Delicious Rotisserie Chicken Meals

• Fajitas – simply saute peppers & onions and mix with shredded pieces of rotisserie chicken.  Season with cumin, chili powder, oregano, salt and pepper and serve with your choice of tortillas for a quick and easy meal in under 15 minutes!

 

• Quesadillas – shred the roasted chicken and mix with cheese, black beans, and place in a buttered tortilla.  Place the tortilla butter side down in the skillet and cook until golden about 5 – 6 minutes on each side.

 

• Sundried Tomato Pasta and Chicken Alfredo – Toss the roasted chicken with your favorite pasta, a jar of alfredo sauce and some sundried tomatoes and parmesan cheese for a delicious meal in under 15 minutes.

 

Avocado and Chicken Stuffed Sweet Potatoes

Impress your family with Avocado Stuffed Sweet Potatoes!  Roasted chicken,  black beans, avocado, and green onion over a roasted sweet potato will have everyone raving!

 

Chicken Broccoli Mac & Cheese

Prepare pasta according to package directions, add broccoli to the boiling water for the last 5 minutes of cooking the pasta.  Make your own cheese sauce and add the chicken with the sauce.  Easy peasy!

 

Asian Chicken & Cabbage Salad
