Caramel Apple Popcorn Squares
I remember eating caramel popcorn balls in the fall as a kid. Parents would bring them for the Halloween parties at school and one year my mom and I made them. It was a gooey, sticky mess – and we loved it.
Rather than use corn syrup to make popcorn balls, make them with all-natural ingredients and enhance the flavor by adding dried apple chips, peanut butter, and peanuts to your popcorn balls. These are not your traditional popcorn balls, they are even better!

Caramel Apple Popcorn Squares
Ingredients
- 8 cups air popped popcorn
- 2 cups apple chips
- 1 cup chopped unsalted dry roasted peanuts or almonds
- 1 cup raw honey
- 1/2 cup peanut butter or almond butter
Instructions
- Combine popcorn, apples and nuts in a large mixing bowl. Set aside
- In a small pot on high heat bring honey to a boil. Allow boil for 3-5 minutes until very bubbly. Remove from heat. Add nut butter and whisk until smooth.
- Pour over the popcorn and mix with a spoon.
- Pour into a 9 x 13 baking dish sprayed with non-stick cooking spray and spread evenly.
