Review of Heritage Brand Sliced Ribeye
I picked up a package last week when I spotted this product at my local Safeway. I prepared a pan of caramelized onions and toasted some hoagie rolls to make steak and onion sandwiches topped with melted provolone cheese.
The steak cooks extremely quickly. I found it was best to cook the steak in small batches to allow each piece to get caramelized in the pan rather than dump all the meat and have it steam. I only seasoned it with salt and pepper.
My family loved the steak sandwiches. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and extremely flavorful. I was able to make 5 sandwiches with the meat. Next time I’ll buy 2 packages so each person can have a second sandwich!
