  1. I don’t deny that shopping at my local Safeway is a challenge. It’s a 50 mile round trip in all kinds of weather and bad roads. I spend a considerable amount of time on the app looking for digital coupons and affordable products. That being said, I have to check my receipt after checking out and go directly to Customer Service for refunds on the advertised prices that were over charged. Every. Single. Time. We have a lot of elderly people in our community, as every body does, that are not tech savvy so the people who need the savings the most, can’t get those benefits. If you don’t buy 1,2,3,4 or 5, you don’t get the advertised prices. Next week you’ll have to buy 10 to get the sale price. If you need only one item at the 3/$5 advertised prices, you will be charged the full price for one. You would have to have a degree in economics to get the benefits when shopping at Safeway. Don’t know who’s responsible for making sure that the prices advertised are actually the prices you are charged at the register, but I have to conclude that it’s not getting done. Some of us have no other options but Safeway in our community.

  2. Hi, the print, especially on the Clip or click coupons, is too small to easily read. Even when I use my fingers to enlarge the picture, the print is blurry. See what you can do, thanks, mark

    1. Hi Mark – I know it is! That’s the new corporate Safeway ad layout. Very little I can do to enlarge. I agree, its hard to read!
