Chocolate Pomegranate Drops 

Here is a a no-fail 5 ingredient dessert that everyone will love! Combine dark chocolate with almonds and toasted coconut to make the drops and top with fresh pomegranate arils and sea salt for a outstanding flavor combination! Dark chocolate is packed with antioxidants that are good for you! Holiday Chocolate Pomegranate Drops also make a perfect gift when put in a mason jar and tied with a festive bow.

Sale ingredients used: Nestle chocolate chips $2.00, POM Wonderful pomegranate arils on sale for $2.50, Safeway flaked coconut on sale for $2.50

Ingredients:

• 2 cups Dark Chocolate Chips
• 1 cup Toasted Coconut,
• Pomegranate Arils (Seeds) 3/4 cup
• 1 Cup Almonds, roughly chopped
• Sea Salt (for sprinkling)

Directions

Melt the chocolate either over a double broiler, or in the microwave.  Combine chocolate, almonds and toasted coconut until well combined. Drop tablespoons of chocolate mixture onto a baking sheet, sprinkle with pomegranate arils and sea salt.  Refrigerate the drops until cool.
PRO TIPS:
– Always melt chocolate in intervals and stir in-between so that chocolate does not get overly heated nor burn.
– To get uniform chocolate drops, or for a different presentation, scoop chocolate mixture into a mini-muffin tin filled with liners. Cool and remove.
– Refrigerate chocolate drops to speed up the cooling process
