Grilled Pesto Chicken Caprese

  • chicken breasts
  • pesto
  • fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • vine ripe tomatoes, sliced
  • basil

How to Make Grilled Pesto Chicken Caprese

This recipe is incredibly flavorful and delicious and the best part is that it’s so easy to prepare!

Heat grill to medium heat.

Slice the chicken breasts in half lengthwise.

Brush the pesto onto both sides of the chicken.

Grill the chicken – 5 minutes on each side.

When you flip the chicken top with fresh mozzarella cheese and the sliced tomatoes

Remove from the heat when the chicken reaches 160 degrees and the juices run clear.  The cheese will be gooey and melted.

Let the chicken rest for a few minutes to let the juices distribute evenly.

Top with fresh sliced basil and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
