Signature SELECT Egg Bites Review
Anytime my children fight over something, I just know it’s going to be good!
They fought over these egg bites and finished 3 boxes in one day. Because of COVID, all three kids are at home during the day for online school, along with my husband and me, so frequent snacking seems to be the trend.
I am pleased that the kids chose these snacks over salty pantry snacks because these are high protein, nutritious snacks that I am glad to buy again and again.
The broccoli cheddar was a family favorite as was the sausage. The ham and cheese egg bites were good but didn’t have as big a flavor as the other two.
These egg bites are a perfect breakfast or high protein snack that can be prepared in minutes.

Signature SELECT Egg Bites: Sausage & Cheese
The savory egg custard provides the perfect base for crumbled pork sausage, red and green bell peppers and Monterey jack and parmesan cheese. Incredibly flavorful – the sausage and cheese egg bites were my kid’s favorite.

Signature SELECT Egg Bites: Uncured Ham & Cheese

How to Prepare the Egg Bites:
Preparing the egg bites could not be easier! The egg bites are packaged in a microwave-safe paper boat in a plastic sleeve.
Simply cut a slit in the plastic and microwave for 1 min and 15 seconds.
Remove the plastic and enjoy it! It will be hot from the microwave so be careful of the steam.
Nutrient-dense ingredients, such as real eggs, these egg bites offer a highly desired protein source, as well as practical functional benefits – perfect for a breakfast on the go or healthy snacking throughout the day.
The egg bites retail for $3.99 each and can be found in the frozen breakfast aisle of your local Safeway near the frozen burritos and egg sandwich products.

My mom got a box of the sausage egg bites, hoping for a simple alternative for breakfast, and could barely finish the first cup since it was so incredibly spicy!. She gave the rest to my husband who loves spicy. I had a small taste, and she was right… really spicy! I see the last ingredient is cayenne pepper. Since nothing on the box indicates that these are supposed to be spicy, I’m guessing they goofed up and put way too much cayenne in. Eat at your own risk if you can’t tolerate spicy hot!
Yikes! My kids love these and have never mentioned them being spicy – must’ve been an error at the plant – perhaps too much cayenne in a batch. Thanks for letting us know your feedback.
