Ummm … The 1.49 deal was LAST weekend – no longer in effect. AND, when I used the Just for U 1.49 coupon Saturday, it did NOT also use the $1 off coupon. Apparently mutually exclusive to the computer. Can’t complain about 1.49 price, but I did NOT get a 49 cent deal. Maybe the computer is different from store to store, but it didn’t combine the two at the S Broadway Safeway. Just a heads up!
Hi Lynn – Thanks for your note. I did not send out a newsletter on Friday and so the weekend deals were still part of the RSS feed that drives the newsletter. I am not sure why the coupons didn’t stack as one was a price point offer and one was a dollar off coupon. I also looked at my receipt and noticed that the $1 off coupon did not work and that I was charged $2.49 for one and $1.49 for the other ice cream. But that was on Sunday after I posted the deal.
