While the recipe does require a few Asian sauces, having these ingredients in the pantry will make it easier for you to prepare Asian-inspired meals all the time.
The traditional Thai dish that inspired this recipe is called Pad Gra Prow, but my version is slightly less authentic because I use red curry paste in the sauce to add extra flavor and a touch of heat. The original authentic recipe does not have red curry paste – but trust me you will love this version because it is a unique and delicious flavor combo.
I used the Thin Cut Petite Sirloin Steaks from Safeway, but you can use any Petite Sirloin Steaks you have. The key is to slice the steak very thin before searing. Be sure to use a sharp knife to make it easier.
Adults and kids love this meal because it is so flavorful and colorful!
