To prepare the tuna salad – combine a can of tuna with a tablespoon of mayo.  Add your favorite herbs like fresh dill or chopped scallions.  Mix until thoroughly incorporated.

This Back to the Books Bento Box has the ideal salty-sweet combo with O Organics® vanilla cookies, granola, yogurt, turkey slices, and cheese cubes—a tasty to-go meal for any occasion!

  • 3 O Organics® vanilla cookies
  • 2 Tbs granola
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 banana, sliced
  • 2 slices turkey
  • 1/4 cup cheddar cheese cubes
  • 1/4 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 Tbs ranch dressing

Crumble 1 cookie into granola. Top Greek yogurt with granola mix and banana slices before eating.

Roll turkey sliced and slice into 1-inch pieces. Use picks and alternately place turkey and cheddar onto picks. Refrigerate until ready to eat.

Short on time? Skip skewering the turkey and cheese

Substitute one of your favorite salad dressings for the ranch to mix things up. Blue Cheese, balsamic vinaigrette or Caesar dressing would be fantastic!


Pizza Dip Bento Box

Try this lighter take on pizza for lunch! Perfectly packed and easily portable, this lunch is packed with veggies, pita chips, hummus and marinara for a well-balanced mid-day meal.

  • 1/4 cup O Organics® hummus
  • 2 tablespoons marinara
  • 2 tablespoons mozzarella shreds
  • 8 pepperoni slices
  • 1 ounce O Organics® pita chips
  • 1/4 cup baby carrots
  • 1/4 cup cauliflower florets
  • 1/8 cup celery sticks
  • orange or cutie

Assemble all ingredients in a container/containers. Before eating, top the hummus with marinara, cheese and pepperoni. Refrigerate until ready to eat.

Try different toppings in the pizza hummus—ham and pineapple would be fantastic!

For easier mornings, pack your lunch the night before.




Teacher’s Pet Bento Box

  • 1 oz O Organics® mini peanut butter crackers
  • 1/4 cup mixed berries
  • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese cubes
  • 1/4 cup baby carrots
  • 1/4 cup apple slices
  • 2 O Organics® chocolate chip cookies

Assemble all ingredients into a container or containers. Refrigerate until ready to eat

To prevent the apple slices from browning, sock in a bit of lemon water.

To avoid soggy, crackers, be sure to pack them in a separate container


Keto Bento Box

A Keto Bento Box filled with O Organics® hard-boiled eggs, prosciutto, cream cheese, crunchy veggies, and Greek yogurt dipping sauce makes it easy to eat low-carb on the go!

  • 1 O Organics® hard-boiled egg
  • 1½ slices prosciutto
  • 2 tablespoon cream cheese
  • 6 asparagus spears, blanched
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp dill, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup yellow cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup celery sticks
  • 1/4 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup cantaloupe


Slice prosciutto into 3 pieces. Spread with cream cheese and wrap around 3 asparagus spears. In a small container, mix to combine Greek yogurt with dill and lemon zest. Assemble all ingredients into container/containers. Keep refrigerated until ready to use.

Don’t like asparagus? Substitute pickle spears or blanched green beans.

For extra flavor, try roasting the asparagus and broccoli before packing into the lunch.


Acai Hummus Bento Box

Transform traditional hummus with some acai! Mix up the lunch menu with this unique bento box made with a variety of flavors and nutrient-dense ingredients to fuel your day.

  • 2 tablespoons O Organics® acai
  • 2 ounces hummus
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup mixed berries
  • 1 tablespoon dried coconut
  • 1 tablespoon almond slices
  • 1/3 cup apple slices
  • 1/3 cup celery sticks
  • 1/3 cup jicama sticks

Thaw acai for 2 to 3 minutes on the countertop. Roughly chop frozen acai into small pieces. Combine acai, hummus and lemon zest. Pack with remaining ingredients in containers. Before serving, top hummus with berries, coconut and almond. Refrigerate until use.

Prior to packing the apples, soak them in lemon water to prevent browning. 2. Try using green apples for this dip.




Chipotle Hummus Bento Box

A Chipotle Hummus Bento Box is not complete without O Organics® hummus, seasoned with chipotle powder and lime. Served alongside tortilla chips, a hard-boiled egg, and fresh veggies, it is a perfectly balanced lunch!

  • 1/4 cup O Organics® hummus
  • 1/8 teaspoon chipotle powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1 hard-boiled egg
  • 1 ounce tortilla chips
  • 1/4 cup grape tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sweet peas
  • 1/4 cup baby rainbow carrots
  • 1/4 cup trail mix

In a small container, mix to combine hummus, chipotle and lime zest. Assemble remaining ingredients in containers. Refrigerate until use.

No chipotle powder? Substitute regular chili powder and add a pinch of cumin for a tasty replacement. 2. Any vegetables can be used to dip in the hummus—use what you have available.
